Just think my dear freind, why does a just born die, why does a bad person live long, why does some ppl die young and some get tourtured thro out life and why does some get all good things in life, what decides who should be born where & why, how should he/she live. Can we just say its God who decides it? But what makes him to decide? How can that happen. If there is no concept of rebirth and Karma, why does God gives life to a baby and takes back its life in a day or two, for some its 10-20 yrs, and for some who live 100 yrs, whats the core of this? Its Karma and rebirth which explains the logic of this.

Karma theory is not so bizarre that someone should deny it. What we do we will get the same results...and I think all religions will agree on that
Re-birth is important in hinduism, because human life is so complex and we have to undergo millions of lessons, and to undergo pains and pleasures, richnes and joy, wisdom and idiocy and this life is too small for all this... hence when we die our souls, after spending time in astral realms (hell or heaven like) has to take another body...to fulfil our desires and complete our progress.
In Karma also it is very clear if we see around that people do not get back for their deeds in this birth. Karma create +ve or -ve energy and it cant be destroyed on death. Sometimes we find we are getting suffering without any wrong doings...how would you solve that ? Certainly God is not a naughty boy who is just giving sufferings to some and luxaries to some, by throwing dice and deciding it all by chance.
We are responsible for our sufferings and pains..and if dont find anything bad we did in this birth...then we have to look back on previous births...because life and death are a continuous chain going on.
There are so many questions as to why some are born rich, some born poor.. some intelligent, some idiots.... some born spiritual some born with great intelligence... these paradoxes have no reply but re-birth of the soul, as there is no other plausible explanation to this paradox, no genetic or scientific solution
Rebirth and Karma together give a logical sense and solution to these mysteries

Karma is simply a balance of energy. What you put out there is what you will receive in return.
Just like, "Do one to others as you would have done to you."
Reincarnation is to be reborn into another form after death. I think if karma plays into this, fantasizing about the fate of jerks is lots more fun.

I do believe in the existance of Karma. The easiest example is when you slap somebody you don't know, he will slap you back. So what you do to others will return to you. It's like when you plant a mango tree, you will surely harvest mango instead of banana, when you do good things, good things will also come to you.
You don't have to believe in reincarnation for it to take effect, because this is a universal law, no matter what you believe, it will have effect eventually.

YES IT DEFINITELY EXISTS, BUT I DON'T FEEL IT WORKS THE WAY WE'VE BEEN LED TO BELIEVE. IF YOU EINSTEIN'S SPACE TIME CONTINUAM THEORY AND THE RULES OF QUANTUM PHYSICS, YOU MIGHT FIND YOURSELF LOOKING AT THE KARMA IDEA IN DIFFERENT LIGHTS.. COULD IT BE WE LIVE THIS ONE LIFE AND EXPERIENCE KARMA A CAUSE AND EFFECT PROPOSITION? CONSIDER THAT WE ARE LIKE SOOTHSAYERS AND SEE BUT DON'T COMPREHEND THINGS AND GET THE FULL MEANING OF THEM AS NOSTRUDOMUS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TANKS OR BOMBS. ETC ETC..WERE... MEDITATE AND THE ANSWER WILL COME TO YOU IN THE MOST COMPLETE FORM THAT IT CAN.

Karma works in a mysterious way;just like the popular saying:god works in a mysterious way!Buddhist have this saying:All beings are the owners of their deed;related to their deed;born of their deed;abide supported by their deed.Whatever deed they do, good or bad ,that they will be their heirs. So there you are.Go and investigate and see for yourself.

i do not connotate karma with religion. i think it is real, but i think of karma as "what goes around comes around." as a christian karma would be the equivalent to letting god handle your revenge.
