Ron, You should not have said sorry in the first instance, as its not your fault.
Next, if possible, try to isolate yourself from your crazy friends. There's nothing wrong in being alone, than in a bad company.
Be positive and truthful in your expressions and attitude. Live your life cheerfully.
This will give her a entire new perspective of you.
When you get a chance, tell her that, you aer sincere to her, and she should believe in you. Don't use so many words. Make it simple, and give her some time to think.
Don't fight with your friends, or with anyone else for this.
You got to underplay, and act cool now.
I have given explanation with the information you have given. Ping me if more suggestions required. This can be handled. Don't worry.

It is sad how good freinds can B sometimes pain in the back side. If she is still angry with U, there is no point in trying to talk to her direct. U have to go to the root cause of the problem. It is the freinds on both sides who did the damage. Find a way to make any of them to admit to her the mischief played by them. If she is still cross with you, then start looking in other directions

Praise her in front of others. and if any of her/your so-called friend criticises her don't listen. She will get the news sooner or later and two of u will be together again. Also don't talk about her unnecessarily.

it's hard to understand what you are asking... read your own question and you'll see what I mean. From what I uderstand you screwed up and got her mad... but you're not even sure if you DO like her. My advice is to find someone else that you ARE sure about and start fresh.

Two tier answer:
(1) don't you have homework to do ?
(2) shouldn't you take "relationships" at tht age as they should be taken... NOT SERIOUSLY ?
ADVICE: --"relationships" at that age distract from what REALLY matters....Your studies.
