I just saw the my 24 year old boyfriend (I am 22, just for reference) left a comment on some girl's Myspace, referring to her as "hot". Now, he BRIEFLY dated this girl, just before he and I began seeing each other.

I know he loves me, and I know he finds me more attractive than her, but I am curious as to why this ridiculousness is even necessary.

We had a long talk about several of our relationship issues Saturday night, and we both felt happy about resolving the majority of them (this did not come up, as I have never felt it is an issue). However, Sunday at noon, he's telling some girl on Myspace she's "hot".

I simply do not find this appropriate- especially since he RARELY will leave comments on mine, and is always telling me he was "too busy at work" to write me back on emails and the like.

What do we think here, everyone?

You are upset about him leaving comment on her page and not yours? You have way better communication/relationship with him and the girl. You should not be angry about it. "Hot" was just a compliment. I'm sure the reason why he doesn't comment in your page is not because he pays less attention to you. I think he finds other methods of communication with you more valuable. You can certainly tell him how annoyed you were to see him comment on another girl's page. But it is rare to see a guy who is able to have a relationship issue discussion without freaking out. So, don't let his little compliment ruin your precious relationship.

I know exactly where you're coming from. If he rarely has time to comment on yours he should not commnet at all! He has some nerves calling some chick hot! Uh uh, i would be pissed too. Maybe his intentions were to make her happy but still he has no reason to comment on another female's picture. You should tell him. Its good to warn him now than later. Tell him you're hurt because he left her a comment stating she was hot. You feel is unnecessary & the only girl that should be hot in his eyes is YOU. Don't be ashamed to tell him either because if you let it pass without telling him it'll only get worst. He'll think its alright to look at other females..this time it'll be in public instead of online so let him know. Oh yeah and don't go commenting on your male friends it'll only make situations worst. Drama on top of drama don't mix. Be a good example. Good luck!

Get rid of him, he is taking you for granted.....he wants what he can't or doesn't have. Go read the book, "Hes just not that into you" and see if it rings true for your relationship....or you could lower yourself to his level and start leaving comments on some hot guys myspace pages.

MySpace is the place for DRAMA!!

There are plenty of hott guys on there find one to compliment yourself!! If you already have a guy on your friends list that you think has a hott pic on there, well you just go and comment that pic and tell him so!!

if you are so concerned over a myspace account and activity on it...you aren't mature enough to be in a serious relationship. YOU are the girlfriend. why would he be leaving you messages on your myspace when he will be coming home to you? geesh woman. get a grip.

If u wish to continue with him,it's an issue concerning ur relationship, and you should have told him.U can still tell him, better late than never. That would clear your doubts and minimise your anxieties.

I don't think its THAT big of a deal, unless he says something like that around you.

Go outside, find a good sized switch, and smack him with it once.

Don't tell me you have never looked at another guy before.
