I guess I was encouraged by all the silly Muslim questions on here. ;)

I know that the answer is obvious when it comes to things like Idolitry. What about Christians, Jews, Bahi, and other Monotheists?

Even muslims friends are not one on the topic..each one giving his own version

God heaven and God's grace are not personal property of any religion.

The God who made Islam, christianity, Buddhism, also made all other relgions

Each religion has a truth of his own. If someone thinks only his religion's followers are going to get God's grace...they are misguided and narrow-minded.

It is time to wake up

In Islam, polytheism is the greatest sin. And people who invented polytheism form of worship, they are indeed forbidden from Heaven.
"Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed. " Quran 4: 48.

Even among polytheists there can be different groups, ones those who deliberately invent polytheism, even while knowing it is gross sin, and other who worship others just because of blindly following the parents or religious leaders. So they will be judged accordingly to what they deserve.

God will be the Final judge because there is none who can know the mind of a person more clearly than anyone else, he will see why he followed a particular faith, why he didn't accept his prophets etc etc. Anyway blind following of religious leaders without using logic is not an excuse.
"Then would those who are followed clear themselves of those who follow (them) : They would see the penalty, and all relations between them would be cut off.
And those who followed would say: "If only We had one more chance, We would clear ourselves of them, as they have cleared themselves of us." Thus will Allah show them (The fruits of) their deeds as (nothing but) regrets. Nor will there be a way for them out of the Fire. " Quran 2:166-167.

On judgement day, God will take into account every single deed, good or bad, how much small it may be
"So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. " Quran 99: 7-8.

Muslims have many sayings and verses that mention righteous Christians, Jews etc.. They are referred to as "people of the book" because Moses and Jesus both brought books as their messages..... Some Christians and Jews are revered for their good deeds and works and kindness.. Only God can judge and only God can determine if a soul can go to heaven or hell.. The one sin that God cannot forgive is associating partners to him.. Believing in more than 1 God..

If a person dies as unbeliever then there is no hope for him/her.
But one lesson one can learn from this is make yourself prepare before it is too late that is death.

Practicing God's Infinite Mercy

[39:53] Proclaim: "O My servants who exceeded the limits, never despair of GOD's mercy. For GOD forgives all sins. He is the Forgiver, Most Merciful."
[39:54] You shall obey your Lord, and submit to Him totally, before the retribution overtakes you; then you cannot be helped.
[39:55] And follow the best path that is pointed out for you by your Lord, before the retribution overtakes you suddenly when you least expect it.
[39:56] Lest a soul may say, "How sorry I am for disregarding GOD's commandments; I was certainly one of the mockers."
[39:57] Or say, "Had GOD guided me, I would have been with the righteous."
[39:58] Or say, when it sees the retribution, "If I get another chance, I will work righteousness."
[39:59] Yes indeed (you did get enough chances). My proofs came to you, but you rejected them, turned arrogant, and became a disbeliever.
[39:60] On the Day of Resurrection you will see the faces of those who lied about GOD covered with misery. Is Hell not the right retribution for the arrogant ones?
[39:61] And GOD will save those who have maintained righteousness; He will reward them. No harm will touch them, nor will they have any grief.
[39:62] GOD is the Creator of all things, and He is in full control of all things.
[39:63] To Him belongs all decisions in the heavens and the earth, and those who disbelieve in GOD's revelations are the real losers.
[39:64] Say, "Is it other than GOD you exhort me to worship, O you ignorant ones?"

Yes sometimes..

Allah is the most just. Don't even think that we can be nicer than Allah. Allah is the Most Just, and He said in the Koran "We were not to punish till having sent a warner". The "We" here is the majestic we used in Arabic. So if a person never heard about Islam, and was never warned clearly Allah would have a special test for that person that He knows is equal to the chance that person would have had on earth. Some people in this test will go to heaven

[62] Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allâh and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor they grieve.
Quran 2:62

Yes, we do. We believe that if one does more good than bad in their life, they will go to heaven. The biggest sin is associating partner to the one true God. As long as you believe in One God like the Christians and the Jews, you're all good. We don't believe everyone is going to hell because of the sin of one woman. All she did was eat fro ma tree. I mean, if we're all going, at least let it be because of the woman who drowned her 5 boys in the bathtub at home.

God will reward the good deeds. It is his heaven, He decides who should be there. I am sure there are non-Muslims who are better than some Muslims, just think of Bin Laden, U'll know what i mean.
