No. Sure I'm an Atheist but I don't want to join that group of idiots. I'm going to find my own little place in hell to hang out. Maybe with the Hypocrites or Witches. And what makes you think we Atheist want to promote values and truths silly?

If you mean atheism as in not believing in a particular religion, then I doubt it would happen. People who become part of groups based upon belief systems generally do it because they are in need of the support of a group. Those who do not generally are feeling fairly secure and strong within themselves and their own belief system so they don't really need it, but wouldn't it be nice to not have to be put down because you don't believe the same story book that someone else believes? Sheesh!!!

If the embracement is the apotheosis of spiritual philosophy, solidly based on the premise that there is a God who exists and rules over us, then I fail to see why someone would post this oppositional question of religious debate in this section. I would say that if you want a 'support group', you should form your own. Seek and ye shall find.

If you start a group for promotion of Atheist values aren't you getting dangerously close to starting a religion

UUUuuuuuuuuhhhh . .
All people of the earth belong to & form groups. And atheists have a large number of groups already & form more daily.Just like all "Believe my way is the only way control freaks", don't tell me how to believe & we will get along.

They already have public universities, cable television, MENSA...
I don't think there will ever be atheist churches in the same way there are religious places of worship, myself. Maybe if they did they would have more solidarity- like the "religious right', but I just don't see it happening.

My initial instinct is to say YES!!! but, when I think about it... Are there groups out there that say that there is no Astronomy? Are there groups that say that there is no Biology? how can I be a part of a group that says that a God that does not exist that doesn't exist?
