The pope recently apologized to Muslims by telling them that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. His statement was false. Jesus said, "I and the Father are One." The Muslims do not believe that Jesus is God..... and Muslims pray for the destruction of Christians. So,how is it possible that Muslims and Christians worship the same God. Does God ask us to destroy Muslims..... No. God asks us to love Muslims and to preach the Gospel of Christ to them. esus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me." What do you think?

*for ganymede*** First off, Jesus was quoting Psalms, when He was crying out. You have it twisted around...a true Christian KNOWS that Jesus is God. Thomas also doubted...don't be unbelieving, but be believing!
John 20:27-29
Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing." And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
What part of the bible is confusing you? The part where God the Father calls Jesus God or the part where Jesus described Himself as God (Almighty, I AM, alpha and Omega...) Or the part where Jesus was reading minds...only God can do this...etc., etc. Jesus Christ was/is God; it is the Holy Spirit that reveals this.

Let's analyze this a minute. The Creator (call it what you like.)
is a force so powerful that it cannot be limited (especially not in one tiny human body.). The creative ability of an unlimited mass of intelligent mass of energy, is also unlimited.

JESUS HAD A REVOLUTIONARY AND BOLD PERSPECTIVE FOR THAT TIME IN HISTORY. HE WAS SOMEONE WHO WAS MAD AT THE CHURCH FOR NOT CARING FOR THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE.
Let me give this a little different reading than you are used to.
"it is the only Son, who is close to the Father's heart, who has made him known" This says, Jesus was the only child of the many that the Creator has created that has said that we are all related. We are all one and thus part of the whole.
In physics it is proven that energy is constant. Constantly changing.
I died on the operating table during heart surgery when I was 18.
While I was dead for 6 minutes I had an out of body experience where I was surrounded by the light of the Creator. I learned that: There is no Heaven no Hell nothing to fear. God doesn't impose Culture on us - people do. People believe what suits them and the political establishment depending on their geography and position in life. (rich or poor... ) Culture conditions people for the most part.
Your quote: "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me."
I read as... I AM is the the way each person see them self (first person singular. It is a describing statement for everyone. I am tall I am a man. I am kind. I am a creator. ...)
"I am the way" - each person has a journey to complete, their life.
"the truth" - each person has a personal truth or perspective.
"the life" - the life or the light you can use either - is the spark of energy given to them by the Creator to carry out this journey.
and finally, "no man cometh unto the Father but by me" This part means that - without the understanding that each of us without conditioning or exception IS from ONE LIFE SOURCE. FROM which we ALL derive our humble origins.
Energy is constant. Yes, it is the same Life Source.

Do Christians worship the God of Jews or do they worship Jesus ?
If it is God of Jews, then yes, Muslims also worship the same God.
If it is Jesus, then no, we don't worship Jesus, neither did any prophets before Jesus like Abraham, moses, Noah etc worshiped him. If they all can enter paradise without worshiping Jesus, why it become necessary for people after Jesus to worship him ? I think it would be breaking the first commandment of God

Well, They are in different beleifs where one is angry and one is mellow. I don't think they are the same god nor do I think Muslims should have swords either! They could hurt someone- but that is their belief. Nope, definately not the same god of mine either then, huh. Truth is pretty sharp even though the one carrying a sword may not care.

Jesus isn´t GOD and true christians don´t believe he is.
Read the bible instead of following blindly Catholic doctrine and you will see it sooo clearly. The bible is Gods word not the word of some priest who doesn´t even follow Gods instructions to go forth and multiply, but instead molest kids.
Jesus prayed to God on many occasions, he asked why God had forsaken him when he was on the cross(stake), he even reprimanded his followers for worshiping himself because ONLY GOD deserves worship. Cathloics worship Marry as the mother of God:):), also a major sin!! I could go on and on.ces to this connection, plus Micheal was the first thing God created, therefore his only son.
The Catholic church took on various Pagan beliefs in order to satisfy the Pagans who wanted to join the church.
The Muslims are following some confused person who claimed to have been visited by the Angel Gabriel, Jesus warned of these "false prophets" on many occasions. And Muhamed killed many people in various battles, not a man of piece!.

Jesus is God? so my God came from birth as a little baby? was been feeding and taking care by his mother? and then his mother calmed him down and put him on sleep? then taught him how to walk and speak? enough said.
if this is who you are worshiping, then definatly muslims and jewish worship another God. the Bible you have within ur hand has been editing and translated thru many languages. the Bible within ur hand is not 100% accurate. and your God is not Jesus, but the one who sent him to you. and Yes it's part of faith that u have to believe in jesus before coming to God, and also believe in all the prophets of God. so is with the jewish they have to believe in Moses, and all the prophets of God.

Actually poki Jews know of a trinity. I could post details if you won't. I agree Jesus is the way and the light.
@above statment that Jesus isn't god... Have you read the Bible? His disciples even said he was God. Not to mention he had abilities that only God would have.

God and Relegions are man made,But GOD is natural. Peoples are calling him in different ways. Even nobody called, he will be here. Bcoz they made us we didn't made him. he is superpower. Christian's and Muslim's are the peoples follows different belief system. Both are Same.
