you'll be fine....just take some aspirins before flying....they act as blood thinners and will most likely reduce your blood pressure

Both my parents have VERY high blood pressure but take medication for it which reduces it to a normal level yet they fly all the time.

You really shouldn't be asking medical questions on answers.com for serious things like that. Ask your doctor.

My mother suffers from hypertension and she has never done so and has always been fine. She recently came back from a trip to Poland, all the way from California; nothing happened. But if you feel worried, it is best to go with your gut instinct and just get a check up before you depart.
