Not automatically. Automatic disqualification comes with 12 points, so aslong as your license is otherwise clean, you should be ok!

Yes.
Ignore all the people saying "No" on here... they haven't got a clue.
In your first 2 years of driving after passing your driving test you are only allowed to get a mximum of 6 points, NOT 12
It doesn't matter how you get these points either... 6 points is 6 points.
Secondly, and this is where it's interesting... as a "New Driver" with a 6 point limit you will be required to retake your test in FULL...

Hello,
No! the answer is your just the same as any other driver with a normal UK drivers license (being a new driver doesnt come into the argument), it just means you now have x6 points on your license.
The point that IS "Very Important" here though is that those points will be shown in your insurance history & on your file with the police national computer. The 6 points will reflect your current & future level as risk as a driver (even if you never have any other points or accidents) and will almost certainly be taken into consideration when you apply for car insurance i.e. affect your premium (the actual cost you would pay), no claims discount, & other features of the insurance, etc.
**with x6 points already & being a relatively new driver some insurance companies might be quite reluctant to insure you or may put the preimum up so high you wouldnt want to pay it?.
**x6 points stay on your records for I think? its 5years but dont quote me on that. You might want to check that to make certain.
**Disqualification, if you have been disqualified the police officer who stopped you will normally tell you verbally at the scene.

As a new driver you will get banned until you repass your test with just 6 points plus get a fine of upto £1000. A new driver is defined by having passed your test within the last 2 years. Driving without insurance will probably land you with more than 6 points and courts are starting to ban drivers accross the board now for driving without insurance.

Driving without insurance in UK is a serious offence. It means that in an accident you will be unable to pay for damage not only to your own vehicle but also the other vehicle(s) involved. You will also be faced with a massive bill for any injury to another driver - yes - hard to believe but the NHS does not pay for accident victims the insurance pays for it. Calling an ambulance may cost as much as £600. You are a foolish person.

If you don't have insurance then I'd lke to take this opportunity to call you a selfish and foolish idiot. If you crash into me - you don't have the insurance to cover the cost and once again I will have to pay out on my insurance for something that is not my fault. What makes you so bloody important that you don't have insurance? Why should the rest of us work hard to pay for our car, tax & insurance etc. You shouldn't be allowed on the road and I hope, I really really hope that you are disqualified and we have one less idiot on the road.

When you are a new driver you are automatically on half points for the first 2 years of having your licence. If you accrue 6 points you will lose your licence. sorry

Not only will the 6 points lose you your licence, along with a hefty fine, but if stopped by police there's a very good chance that you will have your vehicle seized.
