I was fired from the job, due to no fault of mine by my boss who is the son of the President of that organisation. My boss's father called up last Tuesday and said he wanted to meet. I said OK. He said he would call up on coming Saturday(18th November 2006) to fix up the exact time, but he didnot. What should i take it as? In case he calls up this Saturday shall i say Yes i will meet or shall i make up an excuse. Also if they ask me to come back shall i say YES or NO?

No, better to move on. They fired you before, they can do it again.

My opinion to you, Don't go. B'coz when you got dismissed from your job without any mistake, They should understand where the problem lies and they should analyse to know the fact. But they failed to do that, So If you go back to the same employer, You can't expect any respect from him and others. They thought only they can help and you aren't able to get a new job. So, openly say No, I am not interested, and look out for a new and better Job. It will show you a new life style. Think big, Acheive well. Good Luck.

they are not going to ask you to come back!!your boss fired you for something you did, or might have done. His boss [ the father ] wants to know why thats all. Do you think the father will fire his son?? He can tell you over the phone.

Say yes, and make sure it is in a public place. He may have the idea that his son may have violated some law or company policy in his manner of or reason for firing you. He may want to get your side of the story. No I wouldn't go back, as you then place yourself in the position of being harassed. Go to the unemployment office and file for unemployment.

Do not go, he is not sure what he wants to do.

If it is father and sun you may loose, chances are you will loose, so be smart leave it behind you, be polite and ask what is it about can you let me now briefly or you call just to find out if you could help him in any way.

IN THE MEANWHILE YOUR BOSS (WHO FIRED YOU) HAS COME TO KNOW ABOUT HIS FATHERS INTENTION TO MEET YOU, AND HAS PERSUADED HIS FATHER THAT IF HE DID THAT, HE WILL NOT TOERATE THE IDEA. ION ANY CASE, I THINK YOU SHOULD FORGET ABOUT THIS JOB, AND IF YOURE STRONG ENOUGH, GET SOME THING ORGANISED TO PROTEST AGAINST THIS THING.
