I loved it and it does work. Within a week my acne stopped feeling painfully sore and my skin cleared up the following second week. But once its gone, the acne will come back. For me it was like a kooky and magical beauty ritual.
But if you really want to be rid of acne for good you really need to change your diet. I know there is an article I found in Yahoo, its about processed suger and flour causing acne because of insulin surges. Also read the Library book The Perricone Promise for ideas. I learned that processed sugar actually ages you!!! I apply this as reality because I used to suffer from acne!
I keep my diet to have acne gone for good. And I still keep Proactive to keep acne under maintenance when I binge, whether its a holiday, when you're eating from depression, or whatever.

Proactiv is benzoyl peroxide - um...toxic waste. Even if it helps now it will have devastating effects in the long run. You don't want to look like a shar pei at 50 do you? Always check ingredients for toxicity before using a product - manufacturers don't want you to know that what you are using can be disastrous. They make a lot of money selling stuff that only masks damage - and sometimes can create more than they fix. Find natural methods to treat your skin or by the time you are 40 you are going to be sick about it. Try putting some hydrogen peroxide on a washcloth or cotton (wet, not just damp) and wiping your skin with that - don't use paper towels as the wood chips can get into your pores.

ProActive ProActive ProActive
I have never really had bad acne but when I was in college my skin started to break out more than my usual blackhead in high school. Three years ago I started using ProActive and it really works. I too freak out when I run low for fear that my skin will have a terrible reaction without it. It is truely a miracle product yet so gentle.

Proactiv is the best stuff! Works great! The first order comes with a tube of stuff that actually helps best with blemishes and you don't get that every time a new order comes.
You need to realize that blemishes are caused by eating habits too. So drink lots of water and pay attention to foods you eat and see what ones cause you to break out. Go to a health food store and get some vitamins.

I tried it, I thought it was great! My face cleared up inside a week! Until it decided to come back the week after. I hated all the steps, and all of the products, day and night. Right now I am using a face wash and moisturizer everyday and toner and exfoliant twice a week. It looks awesome. I was told that no matter what your skin type oily, dry or normal you will need to moisturize. Read this article (my source). You have to understand how acne works before you can understand how you need to treat it.

It didn't work for me. It made my acne worse. After using it, I was waking up with new pimples every day. I finally went to a dermatologist. He said my acne problem has more to do with hormones and that we need to treat it from the inside out. I'm on a medication now and using differin cream. It works great although it can be a bit drying. Good luck!

My daughter uses proactive and it works great for her. Do what the directions say and it should work. It will not work overnight but it will work. It takes about 2 1/2 weeks to really work but, you have to do it everyday no matter what.

Everyone is so quick to buy ProActiv, but it doesn't work for everyone. It made my skin much worse - extremely dry and itchy. It's worth trying though - but make sure you get your money back if it doesn't.

I used it for a coule years with great results! Was kinda pricey so I switched to "Got2B" products from drugstore.com
I get a zit or two a month and could not see spending all that $.
Give it a week or two.
