Does anyone ever thinking of becoming a Police Officer? If yes, Why do you want to become one? and if no, why ?

I am getting my Master in criminal Justice and i also have my forensic Science diploma, with my degree I could go with a lot of different things as a career choice, and i think im leaning more towatds like a criminal profilier, wich is more u know brain behind the criminals, which is like being a cop in a way, but i am more interested in the science aspect of criminal justice. I think i would find that more rewarding, and more interesting to me than being a law enforcement officer.

Yes I do. I want to be a police officer for three reasons:
1) It has always been a gut feeling that law enforcement was my callling, my career, my dream, and my life.
2) I get satisfaction from helping other people with their problems from being minor to major like stopping a fight in progress or before it happens to counseling a friend who is having suicidal thoughts.
3) I absolutely hate when people take advantage of a situation. I think they are lowest of the low. I feel that most crime is taking advantage of someone from stealing to murder ur taking advantage of a situation by stealing and taking advantage of someone and taking advantage of someones right to live by using of deadly force by murdering someone

Police Work is such a noble profession because it involves public service and the administration of justice.

I am not thinking about it I did it. I am now retired and enjoying life. The reason I did it was to help my community. I heard people saying well they ought to do this and they ought to do that well I did something. I now serve on my counties board of commmisions and still trying to better my community.
