As other people have said, the record doesn't mean much if the guys he beat were tomato cans. About 20 years ago, there was a middleweight named John "The Beast" Mugabi who had a similar record. He fought Marvin Hagler and promptly got pasted. Not saying the guy isn't any good, just that you should take inflated records with a grain of salt.

all hardcore fans whoever they're rooting for are annoying in some way. but it's really a shame to see these racial insults to other boxers just to prove manny is a great boxer which eventually leads to a race being better than another. i am a filipino and a big boxing and pacquiao fan. whenever i see these kinds of comments by pacquiao fans, the insult and embarassment just bounces back to us that i feel ashamed for all their stupidity and nonsense.

Yes. He hasn't faced a boxer with Manny Pacquiao's caliber yet. Pacquiao's beaten the two of the best superfeatherweights of all time in Barerra and Morales.

Valero is definitely beatable. His defense needs alot of work and he was floored by Mosquera in his last fight (who was his stiffest competition yet & is not a big puncher). That being said anybody wioth his power is a dangerous opponant, and this is definately an exciting fight if it gets made.

Pacman won't fight someone without a name. The kid needs to earn his shot at Pacman to insure PPV dollars. Pacman is the biggest star in boxing outside of Floyd and Oscar. Since he is a star he will fight other named opponents.
Valero would be KO'd by Pacman he doesn't have the experience he needs

many superfeather weight CHAMPIONS are not accepting manny as opponent because they are very much afraid that they go home with crack mouth piece and black eyes...
recent news said that many superfeather weight champions are not gonna fight with pacman because of the said reason!!!!
actually the fight between pacman and morales wouldn't be superfeather weight championship if those champions in this division agree to fight pacman but they doesn't so the bixong counsil gave this title to this match!!!!
PACMAN RULESSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I think he can. I don't think that this guy has ever defeated a really great boxer yet.
