So, here is the deal.. i need some answers :)

I have been dating this wonderful guy for the past 6 months. Well, by the 3rd month him and I were having a heart-to-heart and he told me that he was falling in love with me. Well, at that point I was not in love with him, so i declined to say it back; I told him i adored him and saw myself falling for him as well. Well, he has said it maybe 2 or 3 times since then and about 2 weeks ago (a few months after he said LOVE) I told him, I love you! Well, he said I love you too but ever since then he hasn't said it! This is so strange to me.. he was so adament about me not saying it. For instance, he would bring up how I already know how he feels, blah blah. Well, now that it's out in the open I want to say it ALL the time b/c I love this man! HE NEVER SAYS IT! He says "You know I love you, like I know you love me.. we don't have to say it all the time" What the heck? I want to say it at least once a day to the man i love.. anyone been here?

Been there, done that etc. My B/f of 5 months is a Gemini, and they are renowned for not being very forward with words. I got told "I think I am in love with you". Of course, I analysed that one! You either are in love, or your aren't! So I decided to play his game and said "I think I might love you too!" Needless to say, he doesn't say it anymore either. But I also agree with Tina L - some blokes enjoy the chase, more than the victory. Also, I have discovered that men think we are all seeing, psychic wonders of the universe, that just "Know" how they feel. So in other words, he said it once, and we should now just guess! Berks!

Bite your tongue girl, stop saying it for awhile, and see what his reaction is to that. Good luck!

So what if he doesn't say it every single day? It doesn't mean he doesn't love you, right? Some guys are not very verbal in this romantic stuff and if you make them bored by repeating the same sentence every single day for the rest of his life with you, he will leave you. Do you want that?

Some people find it pretentious to hear "I love you" everyday because the magic has lost. It has no more special meaning to it. If you eat the very same food everyday for the whole year, would you get bored? I'm sure you will puke even by hearing the name of the food, right?

So please don't force him to do things he doesn't do it voluntarily. He will feel suffocated and leave for someone who appreciates him as the person he really is and not the person you want him to be. In other way round, do you want him to change you?

Be careful with this one, once you say the words..even if he says it first. Things could start to change. Guys love the chase, the more the chase the better, but when the catch sometimes (depending on the guy) they no longer want to be holding the prize. Watch for the signs, if you pull back..does he all of a sudden become Mr. Wonderful, but if you start to call, text send emails to him...does he all of a sudden become more unavaliable?

It could be that he is scared to say it. Perhaps he sensed your uncomfort in it when he first said it. Thus, he isn't sure if it's alright for him to feel that way. His comments are likely testing the waters, but he might still be unsure. Your best option is to have another heart-to-heart, and explain to him what he means to you. To those with doubtful minds, a nice solid heart-to-heart does the trick.

If he flakes out, then tell him what's important to you, what bothers you. I promise that him knowing will correst his ways, or bring out the cause.
