can I get a flu shot even if i have a little sniffle cold the day before the shot?

It's generally not a good idea to get the flu shot if you are, or have recently been, sick. Even a light cold. Especially if you have a fever. It is best to wait until you have been completely well for 2-3 days.

I DON'T THINK THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE, IF YOU HAVE A COLD.
