Even if you are really into someone, has their family (something they did, don't do, divorce, living situation, etc.) caused you to reconsider dating them?

Unfortunately yes. I dated this person for a while and I met his family. They were totally dysfunctional, loud, crass and crude. When he was around them he behaved like a lunatic. But when he was alone with me he was a different person. It was a Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing. So i called it quits. It was too much for me.

No, if you love the person, whatever happens with their family shouldn't jeopardize that love. Relatives can be a pain, and they are very good at it,

but when push comes to shove, you grow up and start lives of your own. And you live it.

Most definitley. No one wants to be in a relationship where they are constantly having issues with their lovers family. It really makes you think about your future life with that person and all the drama that is lying ahead.
