is it true the Koran says...?

Koran, Sura 16, verse 103, When we change one verse for another, and Allah knoweth best what he revealeth, they (Christians and Jews) say, "Thou art only a fabricator (how true)." Nay! but most of them have no knowledge.

if it does say that they change one verse for another then how can you trust it as God's word?

Qura'n says as follows, and I am giving One verse before and one verse after so you may be able to understand little further.

وَإِذَا بَدَّلْنَا آيَةً مَّكَانَ آيَةٍ وَاللّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُنَزِّلُ قَالُواْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُفْتَرٍ بَلْ
أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ

101. Waitha baddalna ayatan makana ayatin waAllahu aAAlamu bima yunazzilu qaloo innama anta muftarin bal aktharuhum la yaAAlamoona

When WE reveal one Verse in place of another Verse--and Allâh knows the best what HE should reveal--then these people say: "you fabricate (Muftari) this Qur’ân yourself." The truth is that most of these people are unaware of the reality.



قُلْ نَزَّلَهُ رُوحُ الْقُدُسِ مِن رَّبِّكَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيُثَبِّتَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَى لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ

102. Qul nazzalahu roohu alqudusi min rabbika bialhaqqi liyuthabbita allatheena amanoo wahudan wabushra lilmuslimeena

Tell them that Rûh-ul-Qudus (Angel Jibrael) has gradually brought it down in truth from my Râbb, so that it may strengthen the Faith of those who brought Faith and show guidance to the obedient and give them good news of blessing and prosperity.



وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ إِنَّمَا يُعَلِّمُهُ بَشَرٌ لِّسَانُ الَّذِي يُلْحِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ أَعْجَمِيٌّ وَهَـذَا لِسَانٌ عَرَبِيٌّ مُّبِينٌ

103. Walaqad naAAlamu annahum yaqooloona innama yuAAallimuhu basharun lisanu allathee yulhidoona ilayhi aAAjamiyyun wahatha lisanun AAarabiyyun mubeenun
WE know these people say about you: "A man teaches him." Whereas the person they are pointing -- speaks Foreign language and this (Al-Qur'ân) is in clear Arabic language.

The meaning of Sura 16 An Nahl (bee) verse 103 is "Actually We (God/Allah) know well that they (unbelievers Jew and christian) said :Actually Al Qiur'an was learned by a man to Muhammad pbuh.Although the language which they accused that Muhammad pbuh learned to him was Ajam (bad Arab language) while Al Qur'an was in a clear and good Arabic language"..I believe it was a God spoken to the iunbelievers .I trust that a whole Al Qur'an contents was given by Allah through IJibril/Gabriel angle as messenger of Allah to Muhammad pbuh

i guess u 've got a clear idea from the answers of my brothers and sisters, just want to add that dont just go blindly for such things which are of no worth , first do some reseach before raising such questions, secondly We do trust our God word, the one that is in Arabic, and well protected, and is complete code of life for us. these are fabricated things just a useless try to tell the world that muslims and their Quran is wrong, but till yet no one could get success. beware !!!

verse 102
Say (O Muhammad SAW) Ruh-ul-Qudus [Jibrael (Gabriel)] has brought it (the Qur'an) down from your Lord with truth, that it may make firm and strengthen (the Faith of) those who believe and as a guidance and glad tidings to those who have submitted (to Allâh as Muslims).

verse 103
And indeed We know that they (polytheists and pagans) say: "It is only a human being who teaches him (Muhammad SAW)." The tongue of the man they refer to is foreign, while this (the Qur'ân) is a clear Arabic tongue.

verse 104
Verily! Those who believe not in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, Allâh will not guide them and theirs will be a painful torment.

The bible proofs it became into genuine, by making infinite predictions that have come genuine to the letter. this might basically be so if it became into written by somebody outdoors of the time area, subsequently God. the bible is the only e book that states its credibility on those predictions, this against all the different "non secular" works. Now if God wrote the bible that's genuine.

16, verse 103 is: "And certainly We know that they say: Only a mortal teaches him. The tongue of him whom they reproach is barbarous, and this is clear Arabic tongue."

And verily (wa-laqad is for confirmation) We know that they say, 'It is only a human that is teaching him, the Qur'ān' - this was a Christian blacksmith whom the Prophet (s) used to frequent. God, exalted be He, says: The tongue, the language, of him to whom they refer, to whom they incline, [with the accusation] that he is [the one] teaching him, is foreign; while this, Qur'ān, is [in] a clear Arabic tongue, one of lucidity and clarity: so how can a foreigner be teaching him?

and i say absolutely!!! it's like saying that Osama bin laden was the one who taught shakespeare poetry!!!! c'mon.
