Look at your lower eyelids in the mirror, slightly pull them down with clean fingers. Towards your nose side, you'll see a small hole. That's called the nasolacrimal duct. Naso=nose, lacrimal=tears, this hole drains your tears into your nose. This also helps keep your nasal passages moist.

well as I discovered
When you cry, tears come out of the tear glands under your eyelids and drain through the tear ducts that empty into your nose. Tears mix with mucus there and your nose runs.

our nasal is connected to our eyes when we cry some of the tears leak into the nose and drip out.

Our tear ducks are connected to the back of our throat as is our nasal passages. Its all pipes, it goes everywhere....
