YES. And the theory of relativity. And quantum theory.

I think the issue is that most Christians (most everybody, actually) don't know what a SCIENTIFIC theory really is. It's NOT "just a guess" as most people mistakenly assume because of its use in everyday vernacular. In the context of science, it is an explanation of a set of related observations or events based upon proven hypotheses and verified multiple times by detached groups of researchers. In scientific terms, a theory implies that something has been proven and is generally accepted as being true.

well I think there is no established factual law which describes gravity ( i know there's equations which describe the calculation of it and its effect ) . I think einstein was heard as saying its not a force itself but a result of other factors . ( /me bringing out a flame proof jacket )

law being a accepted fact in the classification tree of the scientific method .
