My boyfriend has this friend who has been seeing this girl for about two months. She sends him really sexually explicit text messages and he forwards some of them to my boyfriend. Probably to show off or something like that. My boyfriend mentioned it to me today and I feel really bad for this girl. I'd be horrified if some guy I was dating did something that disrespectful to me. I'm not close to her at all but should I tell her anyway?

General Custer: I never said he showed them to me. Today we were just talking about that particular friend of his and he mentioned the text thing in passing.

Have your boyfriend forward that forwarded message back to the girl friend. A few people may grow up a bit.

normally i'd say but out of peoples private lives but yes this guys a slim ball. how dare he treat his girlfreind like that showing all his friends what she says to him. she's taking this serious and showoing only him and he's flaunting her around town to his buddy's he can't really care for her. I'm sorry but a man who can show his girlfriend or wife off in that manner is a scum bag. tell her to drop the creep while she's at it.

Sure, if you want be that way, but that is not exactly fair to your bf, what if your bf is the only person the other guy showed these things too, you would be messing with his friendships, If you were my gf and did that to me I would be alot less likely to trust you with anything.

No. I mean, it's kind of mean, but it's nothing really harmful. However, if you saw him cheating on her, you might mention it. Otherwise, you should not tell her. Perhaps you should tell your boyfriend to tell him to quit sending those messages to him. It seems like the other guy is being immature.

Yes you need to tell her.As you said it is disrespectful and just wrong.Besides if he has the need to belittle her just to make himself feel like a big man then that just tells me he is severely insecure.And he's a jerk!Tell her please she deserves to know what he is doing.
