ive been going out with my first boyfriend for about a 5 months now. i'm only 17 so this whole bf/gf thing has been kinda new to me, he tells me he loves me , i tell him i love him,he means it, and i mean it, at least i think i do, and things have been getting serious. . .
i really do care about him, but is it love?

If you have to question it then it isn't you should know by the way that you feel. If you are in the least bit unsure then I'm sure that it is only lust or hope to love. You are very young and when I was age I wasn't dreaming to love anyone but me. So take you time as you ahve options in life and make it all worth while. Go do things with your life and make smart choices don't rush the brush you'll get dab. I believe that your boyfriend is young to and if he is anywhere close to your age he is only thinking of what you have in the goodie bag. Besides love is something that is so strong you can't deny so when you do love someone little girl, you'd be sure of it. If he loves you then make sure that he prove it.

Dont think too much My Friend, as long as You are happy with this relationship, so just enjoy it. It could be love, or it could be just temporary love or just like or even lust. Only time could answer it. So just livin` through of it...you are still young. Your journey in life, even love life still long. if He really you true love and by the time goes on, You`ll not hesitate anymore, and definitely able to say He is my soul mate.

It all really depends on if you're having sex. If that is the case chances are it is lust. If not then it is probably puppy love.
