no ,everything that is not European is not ghetto nor trashy ;
since you are in etiquette ? etiquette was in Europe a long time ago , some of the rules of etiquette are still applied troughout the countries of Europe ...
Alot of people have traveled and are noticing the difference in countries .that is all ...........))

Have you ever noticed how ignorant people stereotype others even though they themselves don't want to be stereotyped. I've been noticing it a lot..

I think it's about business, if some of them are putting down others, especially Americans, then they are just trying to put themselves in a positive light for product sales, tourism and so on.
