Ok, I've met someone online?

And honestly my friends are staring to ask questions about this person, and when they ask if the person I met is a friend or what?, I find it hard to describe, because we have never actually met, so I kind of find it hard to say their a signifigent other, but at the same time my feelings for them are so great, it is impossible to call them just a friend. what would you say if you were me?

ok i have the perfect answer for you, my current boyfriend was an online date and he had feeling for me before we met, when he was asked about it he simply said i tried online dating and i think i have a potential date or someone i like to talk a lot that i will ask out soon and from there we will probably date. tell people that you are planning on meeting and that there is someone you haave been talking to and getting closer through communicating and it seems for real because you clicked online even before phsically meeting.

How can ur feelings developed when u haven't actually face the person or actually listen to his/her voice? Why do u refer this person as "them". It seems that ur already fantasizing.. Wait till u meet the person..will those feelings be the same? unless looks or sounds doesnt matter to u.

I have heard someone on the phone. He sounds very pleasant and i became so attracted to him. He had the same feelings too because thru out many conversations on the phone, we sensed that we could be connected. He begged to see me. After much escape, i agreed to give in. So we met. He didn't look surprised but i did..Those feelings i had earlier for him, evaporated in a wink of an eye.

this is an internet friend. Please don't invest too much of yourself in to this becasue this is mostly fantasy. It is very possible to feel love for a person you have connected with. But in reality this person is rarely the same person you know online. Ocassionally one of this things works out but rarely. It is best to meet asap. If you are under the age of 21 then you better not do this.

well.. i would say you have a online girlfriend because she sounds pretty hot online.
but like other ppl mentioned, prolly she is not as nice as she sounds on messenger in real life and the botton line is ppl lie all the time on the net.
have you seen her on webcam? if not. who knows she might be your mother's age.
