well i,m just wondering if there are people out there who have problems with their dark and hairy underarms or armpits.i want to ask for solutions so as to minimize the darkness or even whiten it, and remove the hair even permanently without the constant plucking and shaving, without any surgery or laser treatments. i am currently doubting the effectiity of whitening deodorants and creams i dont know if they really work.ive been plucking since i was 13, i am 20 now. i have been also using deodorants since.
any help will be appreciated, thanks!

well, i dont know about permanent hair removal, but i do know that a painless way of removing hair without stubble is using veet or nair hair removal cream. i have tried both and they work great. u can find nair at walmart in the hair removal section(in the health department with all the razorsand shaving cream).as far as whitening your armpits, im not sure what u mean by that, but i assue u mean to lighten the skin, which u could just get like a scar cream or a gentle skin bleach. both lighten the skin.

If you use an exfoliate while wearing exfoliating shower gloves you will see a dramatic lightening. Your armpits get dark from sweat, deodorant build up, and friction. ya gross i know! how deodorant works is it clogs your sweat pores. Soap alone doesn't take all of it off. so you slowly get a build up. Exfoliate about once a week.

make sure you're not shaving dry, first of all. and always use a sharp razor and lather up with shave gel / cream. otherwise, it's all about the deodorant! use one that is skin friendly, like dove or secret with olay moisturizer built in. and, don't put it on until 30 min or so after shaving, don't rub your armpits dry with a towel (pat dry instead).

I shave mine every other day or maybe even daily depending on occasion. I really don't think you should pluck your armpit. Maybe that's the reason why it is dark, because plucking leads to ingrown hair which can lead to dark spot. To minimize darkness (ingrown hair) try shaving instead or speaking a dermatologist.

Shaving evry other day takes less than a minute. Plucking must take hours!

And hairy armpits are smelly. honest

It sounds like you tried various methods and are probably pretty familiar with current products on the market. Do you want to wax? There are very expensive gels imported from Europe that are reducing hair growth but it isn't permanent.

every lady shaves at least every other day....its normal and a habit for every girl to do....whats wrong with a few swips on each arm pit? you cant remove without the laser surgery...but you can stop them from growing too fast...buy a waxing kit at wamart and wax it..its really quick...you dont need to pluck (thats hard)...for the darkness get a' lightning cream' ...thats what its called...buy it at walmart...not at the lotion section but at the aisle where there is the shampoos and body soap....its by some palmers cream....good luck

hey the area is dark coz we usually keep these place closed from direct air contact. just dont worry, just keep it clean and try wearing loose cloths or sleevles clothes at nigth and use some cream so the the darkness reduces. i think this will work
