- you never propose to her, never give her any hint that you like her and then suddenly she just ask "you wanna court me". if you dont like her what should be the response without offending her or without looking like a guy who is not interested in girls-like gay.

look if your gay, then tell her. be honest. and if your not gay and you are not interested in her then be honest and tell her that you are interested in her romantically and you want to stay friends. If she reacts in an ugly manner then she wasnt worth keeping around. and it was indeed the best thing to do is be honest.
