My boyfriends are never slobs because I choose ones who are house trained. Why should I pick up the mess of someone else and make my life harder? Doesn't seem very normal to want to suffer for no cause.

He's a bit of a slob because, and this is not an attack against his mother, his mum used to do alot for him but mostly out of frustration. When we lived together I would ask him to do the dinner dishes after I had cooked, and they sit in the sink until I did them two days later.

My husband and I are slobby in different arenas -- I believe in the importance of changing sheets, washing sinks and swishing toilets. But I'm miserable at keeping down paper clutter, and I often leave books and magazines all over the place -- to the point it could be a fire hazard.

(-: I should be glad he knows how to pick up, and how to wash a dish when he has to. But sometimes we get into fights about each other's habits.

His slobbiness is not really directed at you -- but if he expects you to pick up his messes, then you could have a problem.

if you think that your boyfriend is a slob stop torturing yourself and get the hell away from him, life is too short to be miserable

Yes, my girl friend's boyfriend is a slob?

Why? I guess I'm built that way. Think of it as a guy thing.
