If you don't then its easier to say so now. If you wait untill later then it makes it much harder to bring yourself up to telling them the truth. Ask yourself. If you loved someone wouldn't you want to know if they did not love you and were pretending to do so.
It seems like you don't want to hurt their feelings by not telling them right now. But to "pretend" you are attracted and in love with another person is not going to help you out. Some cases people end up finding out that they do love that guy / girl after they had first thought they did not. If that is the case, then you will know at that time. Then you can go tell this person how much you love them and you just didn't see it before. But untill then, go be you, do what you do. That is the only way you will be able to move on and determine what you like and didn't like about this person.
1. IF you do not like the person at all. Tell them, and make it clear. Also if you do not plan on being friends or associated with the person it's better off to say "i'd rather not talk to you or be friends" than the usual "Oh Lets still be friends". You often will regret the "being friends" part after you break up. (it can haunt you)
2. If you are unsure if you like the person or not then take a few days to yourself. You don't have to break up, just take some time off. Hang out with family or other friends. Tell your boyfriend / girlfriend you just need to see your friends or family and be by yourself for a weekend. This is normal and healthy.
3. If you are in love but don't want to admit it... Then decide that it's the truth and let them know that.
There is an all around answere for yours and any others in a similar situation.

Okay well this is pretty simple. You tell him the truth, I mean why would you want to lie and tell him you luv him, and then he get hurt worse later on in the relationship when you get tired of playing a game and pretending. You have to ask yourself is it worth the drama this is going to cause later on? Just tell him that you like him alot and you care for him, but you are not in love with him, there is two types of love, and when you get older you will understand it, but you can "LOVE" someone for the person that they are, or you can "BE IN LOVE" with the person. totally different kinds of love.. Just be honest .
Tell him how great and wonderful he is, and he deserves a better girl than you and you don't love him . Are you planning for a break up ? Cause i think you should . Don't hurt yourself or him . Might as well end the relationship early since you don't love him at all . Avoid both parties getting hurt alright ?

Tell the truth... and if someone has to ask if someone loves them it is usually not love.....sounds like the two of you are very young..

tell him you have strong feelings for him but just not as strong as his..or if that seems 2 harsh just say "i like you a lot to" its worked for me and guys usually get the message that maybe things should be a little slower

If you don't love him, don't lead him on, just be real with him. Tell him how you really feel about him. If he loves you like he says he does, he'll understand and he'll respect the way you feel.

well why go out with a guy if you dont love him....but if you are, then i feel like you should tell him just that...say listen, i like you very much i just dont feel like im really in love with you at this point . if he doesnt like that then you shouldnt be going out with him!
