Does anyone know if its a sin for a muslim woman not to get married i havent had the chance to ask someone at a local mosque but can a women stay without marriage if they want its not like the other religions i heared that its a sin do you know

no it's not a sin at all the sin is doing sex with someone that is not her husband and thats why islam tells us to get married as soon as possible so that we wont do the wrong..
and if a woman choose not to get married thats her own choice...in the other hand no woman or man can live without getting married if they r following Islam rules they wouldn't do sex with anyone unless he/her r their partners in life

Actually, it is best for a women or a man to get married if he/she can for several reasons:
1- to get away from satan's whispering. (meaning that satan could draw a person to commit a sin)
2- It is a completing of religion to be married.
3- Life is meant to go on... so why should a person (male or female) go through life alone.
Islam is all for the best for humanity, and if there wasn't any good in marriage, it wouldn't have been part of this great religion.

No, It's not a sin. However, in Islam, getting married is like completing half the duties of your religion.

its not sin ...Muslim women and also muslim men should not have sex before marriage and it is sin and forbidden in Islam ..
