B12 is reported to help with weight loss, but I have yet to see any credible studies on it. You only need a few micrograms per day to get your recommended daily allowance. If you are deficient in it, it could help but more than likely if you aren't iron deficient and aren't vegan you are getting plenty.

As far as phen goes, I've seen it used as a stimulant / appetite supresant. It's cousin, fen, has been linked to heart damage. I would avoid it. You can read more at: http://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/fen01.htm

The sure way to lose weight is through a reasonable diet and fitness. Short cuts rarely work and will ultimately set you back in terms of money from your pocket book and your health.

Good luck.

Reputable doctors will check to see if you have a B12 deficiency first (simple blood test). There is sublingual B12 available (I get the shots and use the sublingual from Life Extension Foundation.

No idea about the phen though.
