she needed time for herself, that this wasn't meant to be, that she has never been "ready" enough to date seriously, etc., etc. Fine, pretty straight forward, but she also says I am too good for her, that I deserve better than her and so on, and I am starting to believe that she really believes what she says, but it is proposterous. We had a situation brewing for some time b/c basically she doesn't communicate so well, but it stems from something in her past (still don't know what) that's really affected her trust. She got frustrated and told me she wants me to stop worrying about her. I responded w/ 2 things: it's not worry, it's care b/c I care, and second, if she wants me to stop worrying about her, I want her to stop deciding who and what I deserve b/c that's my choice to make for myself. This hasn't totally gone away, I know we're both right, and I intend to settle this w/ her and yet she texts me about 20X/day. I went cold, disappeared today. How am I doing?

If she doesnt know what she wants then you need to tell her to stay away until she figures it out. Don't hold your breath, just live your life as good as you can.

similar thing happened to me, i was dating a great girl in hs and she broke up with me for, im not kidding, the exact same reason. I eventually moved on and she started dating other people (I think she is still attracted to me though, and me to her). I think she just wants to back off for a while, honestly let her make the first move. she isn't making a choice for you she is making her own choice, she wants to stop dating but keep the possibility open and is trying to be nice about it (and i know man it doesnt help it still damn hurts). dont go cold on her, be her friend but dont keep your hopes up because if she doesnt want to start again itll make it worse. i understand it hurts, it was the same for me, just give her her space and she will figure her own stuff out, maybe she will come back to you. just ask yourself: is she worth the wait?

She's playing games and she doesn't like you ("I have trust issues", "Stop worrying about me"). You're an ego-booster for her and she keeps you around because she likes the attention. Sounds like she has other issues besides trust, and lots of them. Drop her and find someone without mental problems.

Sounds like she's playing games with you for reassurance.

if you love it you have to let it go. If it loves you back it will come back. This only applies once though.

I WOULD LEAVE HER ALONG, SHE SOUND LIKE SHE HAS
SOME ISSUES THAT SHE NEED TO WORK OUT, AND IT
SEEM TO ME , THAT YOU NEED TO JUST GIVE HER THE
SPACE THAT SHE NEED. IF IT MEANT TO BE THEN IT
WILL HAPPEN BUT DONT JUST WAIT AROUND FOR HER
TO GET IT TOGETHER SHE MAY NOT DO THAT.

i think you're just wasting your time. sorry, but maybe you should just let her go. it seems she really can't make up her mind yet about your relationship.
