I like a girl that I've been friends with. She would call me for advice about her boyfriend and I'd let her cry on my shoulder. Problem is, I have strong feelings for her and she just broke up with her boyfriend last week. I know she likes me as a friend, but I don't know if she'd consider me as a boyfriend since she still loves her ex boyfriend. What should I do? Should I tell her how I feel and if so, when and how?

depends. Do you want someone who's on the rebound who's still got feelings for her ex? If I were in your shoes, I'd try to wait until I knew she was over him and was looking for a boyfriend. I'd get a mutual friend to tell her my feelings hypothetically (like, what would you say if I told you that so-and-so likes you), and see what the response is. I'd go from there

Okay, two things: ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR. If you truly love her, you need to go after that and at least give yourself a chance to be with her. HAVING SAID THAT, you are in the absolute worst place to be when it comes to matters of the heart--"The Friend Zone". I won't shatter your hopes and say that recovering from a fall into the friendzone is impossible, but it is highly dubious. Once you are in the friend zone it's all but done.

Well you never know she might just fill the same way about you. The only thing to do is maybe joke around a bout the subject and then tell her how you feel.

I was in the same situation. I lost out on the greatest girl ever and it turned out that she liked me, too. I didn't find out until it was too late. Tell her ASAP.

I WOULD NOT SAY ANYTHING RIGHT AWAY, SINCE SHE JUST
BROK UP WITH HIM. I WOULD JUST GIVE HER A LITTLE
TIME.. SHE STILL HAS FEELING FOR HIM AND IF YOU TELL
HER SHE MIGHT NOT BE SO UNDERSTANDING ABOUT HOW
YOU FEEL AND THEN YOU CAN LOSE YOUR FRIEND SHIP
WITH HER, JUST GIVE IT SOME TIME. IF SOMETHING DOES
COME IT WILL BE SOMETHING THAT BOTH OF YOU WANT.

Just be upfront with her, she can handle it. Or reach out and touch her hair, grab a handful of it and caress her neck, if she is into it kiss her.
