Before bed give a nice warm bath. Then a easy ,soft music playing in back ground, read a story.1/2 HOUR BEFORE BED SHOULD BE VERY RELAXING.No games ,no fun,no playing.
7p.m. is perfect.Gives you time to relax, and do the dishes, wash, mop, scrub, and your in bed by midnight.

My daughter is 2 and I send her to bed at 7:30, but she wakes up at 7. I believe that children this age need about 14 hours of sleep a day so your children probably should go to bed at about 7.

I always gave baths at 7:00 and in bed by 7:45 going over the next days schedule with them and reading a bed time story. This gave me my mommy time, which I desperately needed being a single mom. This was the best gift to myself I could have ever done. It was three hours of peace and quiet to do with what I wanted, whether it was to read, watch tv, talk to a friend on the phone, whatever.

i'm a baby care provider and that i think of that all of them prefer naps whether the 5 year previous basically sleeps for 30-40 5 min. and if the 5 year previous continues to be cranky with that quantity of time make the nap time longer our nap time is from 11:30 to 2:00 and the toddlers get to my living house around 6:00 to 7:00 am and that they do no longer pass returned to sleep so as that they are waiting for a snooze. i might say that they might desire to pass to mattress around 8:00 pm i recognize they like at lest 12 hours of sleep wish this permits

My 3 year old is on the same schedule and we take her up to bed at 8pm. After bath time, we go up, read her a book, say good night and we're done by 8:15. However, keep in mind this is our second. Our first had a HORRIBLE time going to bed. We learned and put our second on a strict schedule at day one. Good luck.

that is about my daughters sleep schedule. she is 3 and some days refuses to nap but others she will lay down between 1 and 2 and sleep for about an hour to an hour and a half. she generally goes to bed at 9. lately, knock on wood, for two weeks she has been going down with no problems but before that i would put her down and she would get up and play or cry do anything to stay awake for about 2 hours after i put her down. i tried everything from changing her bed time to later to tickling her pack until my arms and legs were numb. NOTHING worked. i think that just when you figure things out they change, diet to bedtime. so good luck and remember just when you figure it out they will change and remeber to make time for yourself
