Well, I own a coffee shop. And the best way to help a person to decide what they like is easy. I look at it like to avenue's.
1. Do you like your coffee with cream, and sugar?
2. Do you like your coffee black and strong?
If you answered number 1. I'd suggest that you ordered a latte. Only because it is majority steamed milk, and a lighter coffee taste. Add your favorite flavor, and whaaaa-lah a delicious treat.
However if you answer 2. Then I'd suggest that you try a Red Eye, or Cappaccino. A red eye is just straight espresso based drink, poured over your favorite coffee. Black, strong, and yummy. If the cappaccino is done correctly, it shouldn't have more foam and a nice shot of espresso...and if they offer whip cream on it...that's for sissy's. LOL
Hope this helps!!
Take care...

My favorite coffee is my own. I make it at least twice as strong as everyone else. I usually use Folgers. I then put in one sweet and low and some evaporated milk! It is wonderful.
If I had to pay coffeshop prices for coffee I would just die.

Either drip coffee or an Americano. Black, no sugar.
