I'm trying to get in shape so I can wear a dress at Christmas. The problem is that my legs look terrible and I hate showing them. I decided that today, I'm going to run/walk for a half hour and bike for about ten minute, and other exercises for about ten to twenty minutes. I plan on doing this everyday up until Christmas. Do you think my legs will slim down in that amount of time? I also plan on eating healthier and cutting out soda. What do you think?

The very first thing you can do is that calories consumed must be less than the calories burnt. Keep the record of each and every thing what ever you eat. Check out the amount of calories in a food before ordering that. So you have to be very careful about the amount of calories you consume.

Try to cook your food by yourself and avoid deep fried food. Limit your calories intake to 1000 to 1200 per day. Remove all sugar and starch from your diet.

* Drink lot of water

* Eat a healthy breakfast

* Do not eat any thing in between the meals

* Exercise everyday for 30 minutes at least

i think u already have a great plan. all u decided to do is completely right. but just one more very important thing is that u have to be patient 'cause it's easy to get fat but too difficult to grow thin, maybe it takes a long time to have slim legs. so as i say, don't drop out. remember that patience in take exercises is very importance.

cutting down of fizzy drinks is the best solution, try cutting down on sweet food and snacks, try doing aerobics for an hour and other leg exercises as well... if u dont know any just look it up the internet...
