becuase, guys are very intimidated when others know they have a soft side. try being a football player varsity since my sophomore year. yea. most guys look down on other with soft sides. i mean its not that hes denying you, or rejecting your love for him...just that reputation plays a role these days.

Because mainly a guy doesnt want to look like he has a lot of feelings infront of his guy friends. It really shouldnt make a difference but its something that is always done. OR it could just be that he's embarrased a bit for saying it....and if its a guy that's asking it....some guys wont own up to it.
But really if he told you that why would you need your friend to ask him about it?

Because boys are very awkward and weird. They're odd. Lol..
guys have this thing where they like to keep things on the d.l.. (down low) so they only tell YOU what they want YOU to know. Its complicated but like i said, theyr' very very strange. So its not a big deal at all. Don't worry about it.
