I got a lot of hits at Ancestry.com for families named Picklesimor in North Carolina and Kentucky.

Do you have any other info, such as dates, places, first names?

Don't worry, that surname definitely exists and there are records at Ancestry.com; but you have to provide more info if you want to narrow down the search.

PS: ancestry.com is a pay site for the most part, but there are some free databases. Go there and enter the name in the "Surname" field and you'll get an idea of what sort of free and pay databases they have.

Good Luck,
Big Al Mintaka

I am related to the Picklesimers. Look in Eastern Kentucky, in Johnson County and surrounding counties, like Morgan, Floyd, and Lawrence. You may not find him unless he's deceased, but this is a really good place to start. The name, Picklesimer, was originally Beckelhymer, a German surname, I believe.
