Actually, it's quite possible to have a gay animal. Homosexuality occurs in the animal kingdom as well as the human one. Your cat may really be gay.
If your cat is gay, what difference does it make? Your cat isn't making more kittens to add to the glut of cats around the world, and it isn't getting injured fighting over females. You sound like you have a nice, peaceful cat. Perhaps the answer to your problem would be to get a male kitten as a companion to your cat. That way he won't be isolated and lonely.

Get a hold of yourself! For Pete's sake your cat is not gay!
First off he is most likely neutered, I am hoping that you are a responsible cat owner, so what does it really matter if he was gay?
Secondly, how can he be isolated and lonely? You said he is always bonding with male cats. That doesn't sound lonely or isolated. I have 2 male cats and 1 female and the 2 males are usually the ones the are always playing and rough housing. It is normal, not gay.
Thirdly, I am embarassed of myself for even getting involved in this.
Your cat it not gay. There is my advice.

It actually happened to my neighbours cat. they had this beautiful apricot persian cat they wanted to breed. So they found a suitable female on heat for him. they put Buster in the room with the female cat for 2 days, she was at her prime but he didn't want a bar of her! It was so funny. Any other male cat would have mated no doubt, but not Buster. After that, we always joked that Buster was gay. I do not know if there is such a think like that in the animal kingdom, who really knows?

Cats do no longer type love relationships like people do. he's not gay. opportunities are high, he does not care to be around females and only undeniable does not get alongside with them. the only time a male cat is going to care some lady cat is that if he's unfixed, she is unfixed, she's in warmth, and he's able to mate. different than that, on occasion male cats are friends with lady cats, and on occasion they are actually not. in the adventure that your cat is fixed, that's not proper if he's around females or no longer.

Peter is a cute name for your cat.
Your cat's not gay, he's just being a guy. When it comes to relationships, maybe Peter is just picky.
I really think your cat isn't gay. He isn't a lover cat, he just wants to be one of the guys. He has guy friends, not girl friends.

How do you know that he's lonely? I don't think cats really form relationships, gay or straight. They may be attracted to one gender or the other, but that is really only for the purpose of sex. I don't think they have relationships the way people do.

I had 2 male gay cats and no one would believe me. My son used to throw things at them when they humped each other.

Maybe there just really good friends, how do you know he's actually gay? I mean have you seen him trying to do it with another male?
If not then don't worry!
But if so then you can't change it, if you try you will only push him away from you, let him make his own decisions.

you cant change nature ,the same way you cant force a gay guy to like women
you must leave the cat to its own devices
if a female in heat comes along ,he will probably get interested
why does it bother you ,who the cats playmates are ,is this really important
