Okay so I ended up sleeping with my ex when I saw him and we are going to go to dinner and out again sometime this week. I still love him, but I dont want things to get awkward because he is also a wonderful friend... IDK what should I do? What are the chances of getting him to try us again?

I think that the chances look good, especially after you two slept together and now he wants to go to dinner. Thats a good sign. It means that he didn't want only sex, sometimes ex's will just want to have casual sex every once in awhile with no real commitment. It sounds like he may want more though.

Don't go there!! The relationship ended for a reason. Nine times out of ten, these re-kindling of relationships turn out in disaster. You hooked up because there's a sense of comfort and familiarity there, and that will likely be there for awhile. He hooked up with you partly for those reasons, but also because you were a guaranteed lay. Don't become his "go-to girl" for those times he's in a pinch. You have to make the decision to completely move on, or risk an even bigger amount of hurt than you went through the first time.

well you can't undo the fact that you both slept together, but maybe you're making it too big then what it really is, because what if he thinks it was a one time thing and nothing else? but then again you don't want him to think that you two can have sex whenever he pleases...try talking to him about your feelings and see if he feels the same..if not, then sorry. like the guy above said...he IS your ex for a reason..

He is looking for a sex buddy, and you are comfortable for him, somone that he has already been with. He will continue to look even if he is banging you. Keep him as a friend there is nothing wrong with that, but unless you have a conversation and it starts with him saying "I made a mistake, come back to me." than you are just something for him to do.
