Depression is caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. Throughout all of our lives the levels fluctuate and sometimes we need help. For some of us the levels at which we can cope and function at a normal level for us are different to others.
You need to see your doctor and discuss this with them and they can help you till your balance is sorted.
I have been down the therapy and drug route and come out the other end, but three years ago I spent Christmas planning my own suicide.
See your doctor and survive.

I am no doctor, but I've been through enough to tell you that you are probably clinically depressed, and there is nothing weird about that. A combination of medication and counseling can be very effective. To find a good psychiatrist, consider asking your primary care physician to recommend one.

What you are experiencing sounds like what i have. its' called bi-polar disorder, or manic depression. there are different types and severity's of this kind of depression. it's caused by an imbalance of the chemical serotonin in your brain. you should see a doctor, there are tons of medications that can help. i hate being on medication, but it does help a lot. i'm just saying that's what it sounds like-only a medical professional can diagnose you with this.

Sounds like to me that you may be bipolar. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and I had the same symptoms that your discribing. One minute your happy and like nothing can get you done. It's like a natural high. Then the next minute your crying all the time and thinking that your worthless and nothing is ever going to be ok. Bipolar disorder is an inbalance in the brain and with the right medications you can live a normal happy and healthy life. You need to go and see your doctor about this. Good luck to you.

No you are not weird. I do not get this way as much as I used to, but it still creeps up on me from time to time. I never took any meds for it, but I did tell my doctor about it. Mainly, I have and do spend a lot of time in prayer when it happens. If you are a person of faith, practicing or not, it helps.
Psalm 34:17- The Lord hears good people when they cry out to Him, and He saves them from all their troubles.
I will keep you in my prayers. Best wishes to you and your family for a happy Thanksgiving.

Look up a self-screening test for clinical depression.
Call your parents and tell them how you're feeling. They will care!
Help is available!

Manic depression. I get it sometimes too, like I just had to pay $55.99 on eBay for a DK64 banana controller. Now that's depressing!

If you think you need a perscription, you can go to www.safemedsforless.com and talk to a physician there and they can give you a perscription for meds to buy online. They will ship them to you. Or they also have natural or native remedies you could try.
