Registered Nurse here; You need to make an appointment with a physician. Preferably an ear, eyes, nose, and throat doctor. The knot on the side of your neck could be something as simple as an enlarged lymph node, to something as serious as a mass, tumor, have it checked now, while it is still in the Benin stage, non cancerous. Your having pain, so this leads me to believe you have an enlarged lymph node, a significant infection, as evident by the pain. Unable to turn neck, this also indicates an infection, with the other symptoms you mentioned. Not breathing, well again difficulty breathing leads me even further to speculate you have an infection, possible abscess, possible mass. Whatever please make an appointment ASAP, if your actually having trouble breathing, I strongly suggest you go to the emergency room now.
Thanks for the opportunity to address this potentially serious question. Now get moving and get this checked out.
