my mom is the most anal, compulsive person i know. she never wanted a dog in the house because it might pee everywhere and smell and whatever. so i just bought home a dog without telling her. and she just fell in love with it. of course i trained my dog and took responsibility and everything, so my parents really couldn't say anything after that. so if you want, just buy a dog on your own and bring it home.

a dog will truly be your best friend at all times. their love and devotion is unconditional, and no matter what is going on in your world, your dog will always be there for a big hug and lots of fun.

They are cute and cuddly, and are always there waiting for you when you get home from work/school. They always listen to what you have to say, never back chat you and you dont have to share your clothes or anything with them, ha ha ha!

when someone said you couldn't buy happiness, they forgot about puppies. Um... they are great protection especially if your alone a lot. dogs like labradors, which are friendly but protective.

Tell her for responsiblity too. That you are ready and willing and wanting to have one. As your friend, companion, whatever,,,,but it will teach you resposibility.

because they will be your best friend...at least you will be theres. they will protect you and your family while you sleep, and they are just plain old sweet, cuddly and so much fun to have.
