Soda is bad because it's empty calories, which means lots of calories, little nutritional value. That'll make you gain weight. It's bad for your teeth as well. Diet is better obviously and if you can stand the carbonated flavored water that is best. No sugar and no aspartame, but still gives you that bubbly effect.

If you ask your Dr, the answer will be YES. But then again how many Dr's drink soda -- I work in a hospital,,, Lots!!
Soda has no real nutricianal value to begain with so, you are drinking in calories without the benifit of anything. Carbination can give you gas or make you feel bloated & the acids & preservatives in carbination are harmfull to your tooth enamal. Most soda's contian lots of sugar & caffiene,, these themselves can provoke whole health articals on the sins & evils they can cuase the human body. So,, in the end the answer to your question is YES it's bad for you but more then likely your not going to die from a soda now & then.

In moderation it's ok, but remember that for every soda you drink, you're taking in lots of sugar and empty calories, citric acids that can damage your teeth, etc. etc. and all the bad things everyone says, lol.
