i have always been bicurious since i was little just very shy. i am now in mid 20s and still never even gotten a date with a woman. what my friends told me later were lipstick women, kissed me at bars but then left with a guy! i wouldnt want anything that fast, but actually human connection. where do i start looking and how do i know who likes women and who doesnt? (sorry its a 2 part question)

Start online. It'll be easier and you won't have to buy drinks! And I doubt that a lipstick lesbian would kiss you, then leave with a man.
But it depends on what kind of lesbian or 'bicurious' you are.
A lipstick lesbian is a woman who loves other women, but also loves her clothes and makeup and shoes. She tends to dress on the femmy side. Yeah.. you get the point. (They're not into men.)

I am 29 years old and just like you, I was always curious about being with a woman. You should go to gay bars and try to connect. If you are shy that might not work but if you aint it will. Make your self accessible. If you go where they are they will approach you. Trust me. If you like lipstick lesbians most of the time they like girls that look like boys but if you meet one that likes you than tell her. Most lesbians and bigirls like a virgin anyways.
