according to science, yours is. umm, im obsessed with the BMI (body mass index) calculator, which can be found here: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/
or just googled. i entered your height and weight and you come out on the high end of normal with a BMI of 24.4. the breakdown is like this:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
so you're a normal weight. however, 190 would put you at overweight, so though youre probably lovely, if you wanted to lose a little weight it wouldnt be dangerous, though its also not really necessary. again, according to the BMI calculator, anything under 140 would be unhealthy at your height (i love trial and error and procrastination). play around with it i guess, it'll give you some good info and you can waste time if youre a nerd like me.
xoxo

The key here isn't your weight, but rather the amount of body fat. Don't worry about the scales, pay attention to the measuring tape.
If you're an athlete, and got some muscle, then you'll be much slimmer than if you've got very little muscle and lots of flab.
I don't think that 185 is a problem, but again, it depends on your body fat percentage.

Know if you need to lose weight
Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.
You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.

BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese
Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

Hey, 185 seems in the healthy range, 190 would be about the upper limit. I don't know you, and I'm sure you are fine how you are, but it wouldn't be unhealthy to lose a little weight. But take it from me, because I'm a guy, DON'T lose too much. Most guys think skin and bones are nasty!!

I think your weight is fine, depending on your bone structure. I'm 5'11" and my "ideal" weight is between 145 and 175. I swear my doctor doesn't take my height into consideration and my chart says "grossly obese". I weigh close to what you do.
