If you bought the ring brand new, the store that sold it usually resizes it for no charge.

Be careful of resizing--some rings can only be resized one size up or down because of the design, so ask for professional advice before you go do it. Resizing is about $20.

If the ring is plated, I would not get it resized. The heat may cause irreversible discoloration. Otherwise, it is between $10 to $20 I think...

sizing a white gold ring should cost that much if it's just a solitaire. white gold sizing down: $28 to $38 and rhodium should be included in the price but if not... rhodium plating after sizing (needed):$30 to $35 before you have it sized, since you purchased it from zales check if your fiance purchased the extra care plan. that should of been something extra he paid for to cover sizing and normal wear and tear. if yes, sizing should be free no matter how many times you size the ring up or down nor does it hurt the ring at all.

Most of the it's free if you go to the same store you bought the ring from. If not i wouldn't think it would be very much. But all of my rings i am able to resize them for free any time .

No less than $10. If it's a good ring, it should cost more. If you have to add a chink (extra metal) the price is >$30.

Sounds like it shouldn't be much. Take it around to a few places for price comparison.

If you take it to the store where you bought it they should do it for free. If not, then it shouldn't cost any more than $50.

Rogers and Hollands charges $52, but they add extra metal instead of just stretching the metal that is there. This includes cleaning the ring, of course.

Depends on the jeweler. Take it back to the place you got it from. Some will do it for free. Just another reason to choose a small jeweler than a chain.
