You should first create a budget to see if you can afford to move. Second can you find a place that has a reasonable price. What would help is knowing where you want to move?

Unless you're a millionaire, you have to follow your work.
After that, pick a place that has what you want most.

Do you want a warm climate or does that matter?
What are your hobbies--can you do them where you want to go?
What sort of people will you find here?
How expensive is the place--what good is a good salary if it doesn't buy much?

In the United States, I recommend you answer those questions
first.
Best climate--the Southwestern states. Best people--the Northeast. Cheapest--the upper South. Hobbies--you tell me.

For foreign country, best climate--wherever there's surfing. Best people--do some research. Cheapest--third world
countries, unfortunately Hobbies--you tell me again.

My choice? Budapest, mainland Greece or New Zealand.
