A loving mother who was a lot of fun. Someone they could trust and turn to. I want them to remember me, the way I will remember my mother.
At the end of the day, it's not about the messes they made, or the chores that didn't get done.
It's about the number of times you said, "I love you" and got a smile.

I know that my children will always remember the love that their father had for me and I for him. That love spread throughout our 5 children and 11 grandchildren.
The laughter, the caring, the soft place to fall kind of a home that was provided for them - not only when they were small and growing but all their lives - they knew they could turn to us for love, advice and help - any time, any where.

My never-ending love for my children and my strength to endure anything to protect them in any way possible. I would go to the ends of the earth to protect my children and I hope some day when they have children I'll have rubbed off on them to do the same.

My kindness.
My constant effort to make myself a better parent and person.
My love of life and education.
My constant strive to make the world a less hostile place by helping others--you cannot change the world but the effect you have on just one person can change their life and others.
My belief that everything is possible.
My dedication.
My determination.
My acceptance of others.
My open-mindedness.
My happiness.
--AND MOST OF ALL--
My love for them, my family, and all of their lives--no matter what path they choose.
A lot of things. I know the impact a mother has on her children. I plan on being the best influence possible.

For rocking her and singing the wacky songs her grandma sang to me, for being supportive and forgiving, and for being a good cook.
