There is a girl who likes me. I told her that we can only be friends, cuz I want to keep my options open. The problem is, that we have become very good friends... but I really like her best friend... a lot. Her friend often flirts with me... and when we go out to the bar or o the club she is often all over me. Yet, I get this feeling that she doesnt like me as any more than a friend... I know, a taste of my own medicine i guess... but its driving me nuts i like this girl so much, I need to find out if the feelings are mutual. But, I dont want to hurt my friend, because I know she still really likes me. How can I go about this correctly?

You're going to have to look into the other girl, whatever that entails. Try to ask her when she's alone, to minimize the potential for pain for the other girl. If you do share feelings...you'll have to tell her. If not...she need never know. I've been on the losing part of a love-triangle before, so, tread carefully, and give her space if the former situation(the girl likes you as much as you like her) is true....

Tricky tricky! im guessing that the flirter is ur first option and then if she doesn want more than friendship from u, ull most likely skip to the other friend that ur really starting to like? The problem here is that u need to have some tact in how u go about with finding out if the flirter likes u or not, otherwise ull come across as an *** if she rejects u and then u decide to be with the friend! So think quick... find out if its a mutual interest from the Flirt but make sure she doesnt know about ur snooping around, then if she dont like u.... theres always the friend... who by this stage hopefully wont know what uve been up to... Good Luck !

What you can do is stop thinking with something besides your brain. Because if you were thinking with your brain you would know that is really going to hurt your friend and make all the relationships uncomfortable.Do the right thing and be friends with both and find another girl that isn't friends with any of them. Believe me someone will end up hurt and things wont be the same.

So getting a dose of your own medicine doesn't feel so good, huh? Well, it's a good lesson for you. If you want to remain friends, you probably ought to look elsewhere for a girlfriend. Love triangles are not easily untangled and someone always gets hurt.

My advice is to just remain friends with both of them...Its not worth the heart ache for anyone and will end up breaking you all up in the end. If either of you were meant to be, it will happen eventually and at a more apropriate time where no one gets hurt. Good luck

You have to decide if she's worth the risk. You might lose the your friendship with your friend but it's better if she knows the truth so she can get on with her life as well. Don't string her along. tell the truth.

ha ha...you are so skrewed! I'll take this from a devil's advocate point of view: If they really are your friends, they will understand how you feel. I'd see if the one you like would start something with you, and go for it. Her friend should understand...if she really is your friend. If she gets really mad at her friend, it will be a jelousy thing. if she gets mad at you...you just lost a friend

It's best not to go there with the friend's friend... You will wreck the friendships between you & your friend, & her & her friend.
