Large looser type bird poops. Nesting syndrome. They get lethargic (lazy). Appear kinda fluffy & may rock back and forth.

My bird had three clutches (male present) did very well with all three.

After a clutch I take all nesting supplies away. She is now 6 years old and hasn't laid an egg in 4 years.

I had a cockatiel when i was a teenager. Before she would lay eggs she would look very sick. She just kept laying unfertilized eggs for about 2 years and then one morning she was dead. It seems to be very hard on the bird.

A few days before she is ready to lay an egg, she will have "labor pains". You can almsot see some contratcions when she does this.
She will also stand on her perch with her head down and her tail up. One of my females also sperads her wings. This is also a mating dance.
She might get a little "lazy" and moody.

I hope this helps.

Our birds acted very surprisingly.... basically humping their toys and the female had very watery stools. additionally, she picked a fave man or woman in our relatives, and basically flirted each and every of the time. !!! you are able to ask your community poultry 'farm' those questions too & they're many times very useful!
