Apart from that, I would also like to know, how food can affect the test. For example, after 8 hours of fasting, the test gives me a reading of 5.0. After the test, I take a chocalate. Half an hour later, I do the test again. Will the reading remain the same, or it will be higher. How fast will the sugar enter our blood?

yeah i have no idea where you get 7.2. but you won't read this if your sugar is 7.2 right now. Normal reading is 70-110. This can fluctuate from stress like surgery or exercise (either up or down) and from food. Your doctor can administer the oral glucose tolerance test, test a fasting sugar, and draw a HbA1c with is the average of the last 3 months of blood sugars. In fact that 7.2 sounds more like that test. If you are diabetic, you will start to see excessive eating, this due to your bodys cells telling you that they have glucose to process because it is all in you bloodstream and is unable to get into the cells due to lack of insulin. Excessive urination, from your body's safety mechanism for purging glucose from the body throught the kidneys along with ketones when the sugar gets really high. Finally excessive drinking, from being dehydrated from all the urination, also it lowers the bodys pH from ketosis. (ketones in blood). For your last question about the speed of sugar entering the bloodstream, sugar and carbs entering the blood stream is delayed or slowed by anything that takes longer to digest (fats or protein) For example, a bag of skittles would raise you blood sugar faster than that chocolate.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It is always desirable to not eat about 8-12 hrs before a blood test, especially for glucose and lipid levels. If there is a concern for possible diabetes, a Glucose Tolerance Test will take all the guesswork out of it. That is a standard test for determining glucose utilization.
I can tell you this much, the renal threshold for glucose is around 160-180 mg/dL. People tend to run 60- 110 mg/dL.
The kidneys can process only so much. When the renal threshold is exceeded one sees glucose in the urine. That is how I can tell when some has problems utiilizing glucose.

One of the basic knowledge about taking a blood test is before that, you shouldn't take anything, be if warm or cold drinks, food containing sugar or not as it will definitely affect the results. Fast for twelve hours before you take the blood test and you will get the true results.

Fasting blood sugar testing is best. A fasting test is first thing in the morning before you drink or eat anything at all. it is most accurate and i have one done everytime i go to the doctor. Random testing is still necessary also. It shows how high or low during the day sugars are and som, etimes thats how you know if you need extra insulin maybe.
