Nope never re- gift.
All my friends co workers.. etc.
All know i love dragons...
So any kinda of present giving normally i receive Dragons.
Anything from a tiny $2 dragon or a really large bedside dragon lamp.. they are all very special in my book.
I think its worked out well .. Would never give away a dragon even if i had 5 of the same type.

Yes, but keeping in mind that it's the spirit of the gift. If you get a gift that's absolutely horrid, and no one would ever want it, save it for a white elephant party, donate it to a thrift shop, or just dispose of it. But if you get something that's honestly a nice gift, but you can't wear/use it, and you don't want to return it or otherwise, AND if you know someone who would truly enjoy having the gift and could wear/use it, go ahead. It's the thought that counts, so a thoughtless gift is still a thoughtless gift if re-gifted.

No! I think it is rude. The giver goes through a lot of trouble to pick out a gift they think you would enjoy and spend their hard earned money on said gift. They don't do that so you can just turn around and give it away as a gift to someone else. It is also insulting to the person who receives the regift. Whatever happened to "it's the thought that counts?

Not very often but I have done it. Why have something sit in the closet collecting dust, even if it is pretty? If I know someone who will truly enjoy it & appreciate it, why not? Something I have no use for may be perfect for another person. But I always say thank you, it's lovely to the person who gave it to me. More people re-gift than will admit to it I think. My aunt once got a birthday present that had a Christmas card made out to Lynda in the bottom of the box. Her name is Sue. So all us re-gifters have to be careful!

Absolutely not--I think it's horribly tacky and very inappropriate. I don't care if your best friend would love a bath set with lotion and bubble bath and you just happen to have one that Aunt Mary gave you last month for your birthday. You should take the time and exert the effort to go out, smell all the ones out there, and pick out one for your friend that you think she would really like.
Put some thought and effort into it! Otherwise, giving someone a gift is just giving them a gift so you can say you did it. If that's the case, why bother?

If i know i do not like or i do not need it anymore i give it to someone that does but i wait for a littlewhile b4 i do that.

I have been known to do that. I have a shelf in my closet where I keep things I have received but do not need or want. I am careful not to regift the original gift giver!

I don't re-gift, I would have to remember who gave me what! I will donate anything that I will not use or do not like to the local Goodwill - no sense it just throwing something away.
